The safety of your personal information is very important to CreaLien Design!
The information we collect:
When you make a purchase, we only collect the information that we need to complete your order. We require your name, postal address and email address in order to fulfil your online order.
How we use your email address:
We only email you directly if there is a problem with your order, for example when your shipping details are incorrect or incomplete or if there has been an unforeseen delay.
CreaLien Design does not currently have a newsletter. In the event that we create one, your email address will not automatically be added to the mailinglist. You would only get on the mailing list if you were to sign up for this yourself.
We ship orders with PostNL and DHL. They require your email address to send you shipping updates.
Our email is powered by Gmail and all correspondence is stored in a password protected account.
Your sensitive financial information is protected:
We use Shopify Payments and PayPal to process your payments. We never have access to your passwords, credit card numbers or any other sensitive information.
If you order through our website and choose to pay via PayPal, you'll need an account with them and your personal information will be handled by them. Click here to read PayPal's privacy policy.
If you order through our website and choose to pay with a credit or debit card, your card information will be stored by Shopify. This is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase. When completed, this information is deleted. How we store your data:
Our online shop is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your information is stored through Shopify’s data processing and databases. They are stored on a secure server behind a firewall. You can find their privacy policy here.
Changing or deleting your information:
If you have created an account on our website you can login at anytime and alter your personal details. If you are unable to do this, or would like your information to be deleted, please contact us and we will either edit your data on your behalf, or delete it as requested. Please note that Shopify will not delete your data until the 180 day window for credit card chargebacks has passed and that some anonymised transaction data does need to be preserved for tax purposes.
All information regarding your orders is stored for seven years as per tax laws.
Third parties:
We will only disclose your information if we are required to by law.
If you have accepted the Cookies Statement, some of your information is collected by Shopify and used for analytics, advertising and social content. You can read more about their cookies here.
