What makes the Zebra yarn so special is that one of the two plies is completely white and the other strand has alternating bits of black and white. This gives a fun variegated barber pole effect.

Baby Alpaca Sock
60% Non-Superwash Merino, 20% Baby Alpaca, 20% Nylon
400m/437yds per 100gr - 4-ply

Baby Alpaca Sock is a very versatile yarn that is perfect to knit extra warm socks out of! Alpaca fibres are very warm and because the fibres in this yarn are from baby alpaca's (first shearing) they are extra soft. The combination with Merino wool and nylon makes that this yarn is perfect for projects that need extra warmth and durability, such as socks, gloves and mittens and other items that get a lot of wear! It also works up beautifully into lace shawls, sweaters and other items that sometimes need to be extra toasty.
This yarn hasn't had a superwash treatment and the baby alpaca fibres give a slight halo to the yarn, therefore it has better insulating properties and a more 'woolly feel' to it than superwashed yarns without alpaca fibres.
Some people might find that it has a slight itch-factor. I personally don't find this yarn itchy/scratchy at all, but some people are more sensitive to this than others.
Generally speaking: hand and feet are less sensitive to the 'itch-factor' than let's say your neck. Also: the lower the temperature when you wear wool items, the less itchy they feel and visa versa: the higher the temperature, the more sensitive you'll be. And lastly: woolly itchiness is something you can easily get used to and when you give it a chance, you might find yourself even loving it! Give it a try, you might surprise yourself ;)
Please be aware that this yarn can felt if not washed carefully.

Sparkling Singles
Composition: 95% SW Merino/ 5% Silver Stellina (sparkle)
366m/400yd per 100gr

Sparkling Singles is a lovely soft yarn. This yarn is amazing for shawls and cowls, but also works wonders for light summer garments!!! And if you hold it together with a fuzzy yarn like a mohair/silk or alpaca/silk blend, you get the most beautiful and toasty items! Single ply yarns take up the dye colours beautifully and speckles really pop on this base. The sparkles are definitely the icing on the cake! It isn't the sturdiest, so I wouldn't recommend it for socks.

Double Knit (DK) weight

Merino Nylon DK
75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon
225m/246yds per 100gr - 4-ply

Merino Nylon DK is the thicker version of my Smooth Sock base. It is a very versatile yarn that is perfect to knit thick socks out of! The fibre content makes it durable and hard wearing, perfect for socks, gloves, mittens and other items that get a lot of wear!
This yarn is very soft, plump and lovely smooth, which also works up beautifully into shawls, sweaters and other items that are worn next to your skin. It has absolutely no scratch-factor and is also really lovely for baby items.

Polwarth DK
100% Non-Superwash Polwarth wool
300m/328yds per 100gr - 3ply

Polwarth DK is perfect for every project that doesn't get a lot of hard wearing. I would still recommend using it for mittens, but not for socks. The Polwarth sheep is a breed which is three quarter Merino an one quarter Lincoln. It is Merino soft, but is a bit more sturdy due to the longwool characteristics of the Lincoln wool. It is definitely next-to-skin soft and is a fluffy and bouncy yarn that works up beautifully into shawls, sweaters and other items that are worn next to your skin. It has no scratch-factor and is also really lovely for baby items.
This yarn hasn't had a superwash treatment, therefor it has better insulating properties than superwashed yarns.
Be aware that this yarn can felt if not washed carefully.
